Stress Free Slow Cooker Chili Mac

Once school starts and the weather turns colder, my slow cooker is a staple on the kitchen counter. Warm dinners ready when I get home from work soothe my soul, and bring calm to my evenings. One our family favorites is slow cooker chili mac.

Slow cookers allow you to add the ingredients, turn it on and walk away to let it do it’s thing. It is so amazing coming home to a home cooked meal each night without the work.

Slow Cooker Chili Mac

Robust and tasty slow cooker meal that will wow your family.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb Lean Ground Beef Browned
  • 2 Cans 14oz Canned Chili with beans
  • 1 Can 28 oz Crushed tomatoes
  • 2 Cups Beef Broth
  • 3 Cloves Garlic minced
  • 1 Small Onion diced
  • 2 Tbsp Chili powder
  • 1 tsp Cumin
  • 2 Cans Kidney beans drained
  • 1 tsp Salt or to taste
  • 1/2 tsp Pepper or to taste
  • 8 Oz Elbow or Spiral Macaroni uncooked

Instructions

  1. Brown ground beef in fry pan, then add it to the slow cooker. Add all other ingredients to the slow cooker except the Macaroni noodles. Cook for 5-6 hours at high, or 8-9 hours on low.

  2. Add the Macaroni to the slow cooker for the last 15 minutes. 

  3. Add toppings and enjoy. This is delicious topped with grated cheese and/or sour cream.

  4. Leftovers reheat well. I have been known to freeze leftovers also.
